(PLQ) In my previous blogs I talk about location characteristic in Geylang/Paya Lebar area. Below are links to  1.) Wolf Money(my property journey part 1 of 3) 2.) Wolf Money(my property journey part 2 of 3) I will move on to part 3. There had been alot of discussion on Paya Lebar Airbase redevelopment and it’s implications to the surrounding buildings within the flight path in the newspapers. URA just launched an exhibition on redevelopment in Singapore for the next 50 years. PLAB is at the centre of that transformation. Below are commentaries given by industry expert. I had set a list of criteria for my house hunt, beside fulfilling schooling needs for my son, limiting our budget is one of our top consideration. The rising interest rate environment is a big concern so it is prudent for us to right size our housing need to prevent ourselves from getting into some sort of financial trouble. Interest rate is not the only expense that is going up. Utilities bill, grocery and transporta

(Source One Map “Golden Junction” in Paya Lebar area) (Paya Lebar Central where all the action will be taking place) My friends had known me for analysing marketable securities for good part of my life. I hope to apply my research skill in the property market. All analysis are base upon reliable data from government agencies and newspaper articles but of course nothing is set in stone as policy do changed over time. Just like our footballing project  “World Cup 2010” had been changed to “World Cup 2034”. 😁. There is no certainty things will move according to plan, at least in true Churchillian style “Its sound like a plan” to start with. Having a plan to cater to your property needs is very important. I believe in the motto plan well and live well. In Singapore property context, there is always a location which I call it the “golden junction” in every town where some landmark development and amenities are located.  For e.g Rochor Road and Beach Road Junction(Guoco Midtown), Orchard

(HDB where 80 percent of the population live) I will be coming out with a 3 part series on my property journey. Property is a subject close to everyone’s heart. Buying a property is a big financial undertaking with most Singaporean having a good part of their wealth lock up in property. For couple starting out, HDB BTO remain a good way to start your climb up the property ladder. If you don’t buy a super cold area, chance of a profitable HDB sale when you decide to move on a few years down the road is high. A profitable sale creates equity for your next property purchase.  I recently sold my HDB for what I regarded as a good price, not to undermine the buyer of my flat, she got a super high floor unit with breadth taking view, excellent city location sandwich between 2 mrt stations and fully renovated house in pristine condition. I personally think HDB prices had gone crazy no thank to the delay in construction due to tight supply of construction workers and materials prompting buyers

Singapore Medical Group(SMG) *Stocks are not rank in accordance to capital invested .  *Just for sharing. Not an inducement to buy or sell . Commentary   As we draw a close to a troubled month of May. Companies and alternative assets which had no fundamental backing suffered the blunt of the selling. A big lesson drawn from the sell down “All that glitters ain’t gold”. When Luna was then the popular keyword search on Yahoo(Google not even in existence) The Japanese pop group, Luna Sea was making waves in the pop scene during the late 90s. History had a way of repeating itself in a different way, Luna(the crypto)jostled to the top of Google keyword search in May. I wouldn’t go into detail amid the “Luna Sea of red”. My heartfelt sympathy to those who suffered under the selling carnage. Famous words from a song by Kelly Clarkson “Stronger” “what doesn’t kill you make you stronger”. Wh
