Wheel of Fortune   My favourite TV host, Pat Sajak from Wheel of Fortune will be retiring in 2024. It is not absurd to be saying I had been watching him since I was a kid. Wheel of Fortune longest serving host is a mainstay of Channel 5 primetime. It is also the program which I enjoy watching with my son. I can’t imagine watching Wheel of Fortune without him. Pat Sajak is Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Fortune is Pat Sajak. 😢 With the closure of Turf Club in 2024, I predict more people will be spinning their “Wheel of Fortune” in the casino. Gambling is in the blood of the Chinese. One can’t get into the mood of Chinese New Year celebration without some

Result for July SSBs just came out. It had gotten poor response from investors. Only 136m out of 600m issues found buyers. Base on the current yield of 10 years SGS, there might be an uptick in yield for next month SSBs. Better luck next month. God bless. 🙏 Please consider following us on telegram for the latest update on Lone Wolf investor by clicking on the link below.   (The mile long jam) I am back after a short holiday to Bangkok. As usual the story telling part before I go into the bargain side of things. I heard the shocking news of the sinking of the Titan submersible during my trip to Bangkok. My condolences to the families affected by the tragedy.  As the richest of our society pushes the frontier of travelling, going to exotic destinations for extreme adventure is the last untapped goldmine of tourism. Going into space or deep diving to the deepest ocean where no man had went is an attractive proposition for Billionaires that have everything. Gone are the days where a shopping trip to London or Paris on a private jet can satisfied the most discerning Billionaire. Even a visit to Iceland had became common. Iceland was not known to be a popular travel destination just 15 years ago, it had grown to be the country of choice for people with money to spend. Btw Iceland is an expensive country to travel. The growing desire for the next trophy desti

At 2.82% yield, July SSBs issue is only a slight uptick in yield compare to last month SSBs, so far yield on the 10 years SGS is holding well above 3% for this month. If yield on the 10 years SGS doesn’t fall off the cliff for the next 2 weeks or so, August issue SSBs yield is likely to be higher than July. Closing date for this month SSBs fall on 26th June@9pm. Wolf Bargain(Tenya)

(Image credit : Tenya Singapore. The unmistaken Tenya mascot) Lone Wolf was invited for a taste review at Tempura Tendon Tenya, Orchard Central. This well known Japanese No.1 Tendon chain was established in 1986 at Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. The first store in Singapore opened its door in 2020. Within the short span of 3 years, the local master franchisee had grown the number of outlets to 4 with further expansion in the pipeline. (Tenya Tendon starts at $9.50) I find the food excellent value for money. A bowl of Tenya Tendon cost no more than a tener, $9.50 to be exact. The pricing is almost similar to having a meal at a foodcourt. The secret to low price which I was told was due to bulk purchasing of ingredients. The owners good track record of running F&B venture and good relationships with landlords allow them to negotiate a lower rental was another factor for lower price. All those cost savings are passed on for the benefit of their customers. The Food I ordered a set of Tempura
