A winner has been chosen among all the many entries. Congratulations to Guek Choo. Guek Choo entered the contest because her son is a Bruno Mars fan. I told her she is the best mum ever for her son after winning the T-Shirt for him. 

I asked Guek Choo who comes from the financial industry, on how is she investing her money presently. She has a balanced portfolio. A portion of her investment dollars goes into unit trusts and insurance policies. She is also vested in Singapore market(Phew! 😮‍💨 at least I know I am not alone investing in our local market🤪). She and her clients are quite conservative investors. They prefer passive income through dividend investing. 

We had a long chat about the financial industry on how investors’ expectations have shifted over the past few years. The high risk-free rate changes how people invest their money. She is quite sanguine about the market. The recent changes to the CPF rule on special account can give the market a much-needed boost. I hope some of that CPF money can flow into our local stock market. I enjoyed, and thank Guek Choo for her sharing on a wide range of topics. I hope to catch up with her soon.
