Wolf Bargain(Ready get SET, go!)

Food inflation is driving up the price of our meals. There are a few on-going promotion happening at some food establishments, providing good food at discounted price.

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is trying to build a loyal following for their breakfast offerings. This month promotional set represents excellent value for money. For 10 dollars you get 2 sets of, Eggs on Waffles with seasonal fruits plus 2 cups of Spanish lattes. Try beating that McDonald’s !! I had their breakfast previously. They are tasty. Promotion valid till 30th April, from Monday to Friday before 12 noon daily.

Toastbox

A 3 dollars discount on toast or thick toast set is given if you use the DBS Yuu card to make payment. A traditional Kaya Butter toast set with coffee originally costs $6.2. With a $3 discount, Kaya toast set will be cheaper than your neighbourhood coffeeshop. That is what I call a toasty great deal. Offer from 9th to 30th April for the first 3500 customers islandwide.

M&S Café

My love for M&S started decades ago from my frequent trips to London. The items sold in M&S, London, are at least 30% cheaper than in Singapore. The M&S café at Wheelock Place serves daily afternoon tea. The set, good for two costing only $30.90 is one of the most affordable. Having afternoon tea somewhere else in Orchard will cost between $30-$60 per person. There is a good selection of scones, pastries and sandwiches. The set comes with coffee or tea. M&S literally means munch and save.

(Sample display)

(Love the scone with the jam and clotted cheese, best scone in the world proclaimed by M&S)

(Lemon cake)

(Macarons)

(Egg and Tuna Sandwiches)
