  Cutting losses wasn’t the first home coming I was looking after two weeks of holidaying. Thai Bev had fallen below my support. I took the opportunity to clear the dead wood in my portfolio. I like Thai Beverage’s business, less so on the price movement. Sellers are willing to sell the shares at current low levels even though there was a cum dividend(1.7c) status. There was a 3% drawdown on the position.  Maybe one day, I might find my way back to the stock again. In the meantime, I had enough alcohol, time for a break. Overall, I don’t think the multiple trades in Thai Beverage made me much money neither did it made me lose my pants , but it sure is an interesting experiment. 😅More details at the end of year review. (Christ Church, Melaka) History The history of the state includes previous incarnation as a powerful Malacca Sultanate during the 15th century before Portuguese rule in 1511. Past colonial governments included the Dutch in 1641, which was superseded by the British in 1824. One will enjoy the state’s rich history, which shares its name with the Straits of Malacca.  (Stadthuys which mean City Hall in Dutch is currently a museum) (A fountain to commemorate the reign of Queen Victoria)  Weather   The state shared similar weather patterns with the rest of South East Asia. During our stay, Malacca was experiencing wetter weather. Most days were cloudy with heavy rain occurring during the wee hours of the morning. Temperatures dropped to as low as 23 degrees in some nights with temperatures hitting a high of 29 degrees. It was great weather all day round with occasional showers.
