  About   Singapore Medical Group(SMG) own a chain of multi disciplines clinics. They run clinics from oncology, lasik, cancer centre to paediatric. They are also providing diagnostic services like MRI and CT scan through their subsidiary lifescan. They manage close to 40 clinics currently. I have been looking for a healthcare play in my portfolio for many years. Non of them pass my valuation test. Singapore Medical Group is among the lowest valuation medical stock listed on SGX. I welcome SMG into my portfolio. Below are the 10 things you need to know about SMG. Summary 1.) Nam Lee Pressed Metal  half year 2021 result show over 6000% increase in profit thank to ramp up production of refrigeration container frames. Net profit came in at close to 8m with eps of 3.29c.Profit is aided by gain in derivatives contract of 2.2m . Nav increase to 62c. Outlook for the Group business in the next 12 months is envisaged to be positive  in words of management. About Chopped is a salad shop that operates out of The South Beach development near Beach Road. I have been visiting this salad shop which happen to be a stone throw away from where I live since its opening a couple years ago. I was new to the world of healthy eating then. They are the only salad shop that I go to now. (Salad with Teriyaki Chicken and honey mustard dressing) Taste Recently I was out doing some errands and I was craving for a salad since I am no where near my go to salad shop, I just ordered a salad from a well known salad shop that operate out of a shopping mall. I ordered a salad with chicken as my protein. The price came in at roughly $12-13. I was limited to 4 choices of topping and a base. The price is substantially higher than the usual $9.80 I paid for Chopped Salad. The bowl is only half of what I am getting from Chopped and the taste is forgettable.   The Vivid saving account offer by Singapura Finance has the highest interest offer to any saving account for amount below 20k in Singapore currently. On average the interest is slightly below 1.175% for $19999 and below but there are a few t&c. You wil be given a prepaid MasterCard with every account opening. The saving account come with e wallet(MasterCard). Before you spend, one need to transfer from vivid saving account to e wallet. All application has to be done online.  There are other things to look out. 1.) Withdrawal has to be done at 1 of the 7 Singapura Finance branches. There will be a fee of $3 per withdrawal or deposit at branch. They are currently waving off the 3 dollars fees till end of Dec 2021. 2.) Keep the amount below 19.9k or else all interest earned for full amount in account will be reduced to 0.25%. The investment side of thing.  In the month of April I had reduced my portfolio by slightly over 50 percent. The two main reasons for the right sizing. First I am queasy with the elevated stock price around the world. The US market hasn’t experience a 10 percent correction since last year. The second reason is more personal I had been pouring more money into the stock market over the past 6-12 months than I had been for the past 6 years. It is a deliberate intention of mine to take a more defensive stance to reduce market exposure by reverting back to the mean. I had decide to take some profit off the table. Some profit go
