Wolf Bargain(food galore)

Image
My very first experience of doing a buffet was in Marina South many years ago, it was part of the thing I do on route to the well established nightspots located along Marina South. It is also what a secondary kid could afford. One could pigged out with a ridiculous amount of food for a Tenner. NS weekend book out day was another occasion for a nice buffet meal. I had substantially dial down my intake over the years. Age had definitely caught up. Today recommendation felt a sense of liberty. For more than 3 years of covid lockdown, my wife and I finally had a chance to do a proper DIY buffet session. I like the liberty of taking what I want. I like buffet not for the quantity of food it offers, I love it due to the variety of choices that come with a good buffet spread.  We are at City Hall, Cafe Mosaic, Carlton Hotel. They are currently offering lunch buffet special at only $38++ per person. It is difficult to find a buffet that is below $40 now due to food inflation  The choi...

(Contents) “100 baggers” stocks that return 100-1 and how to find them by Christopher Mayer teaches how everyone can spot a 100 baggers. You are right, not 10 baggers, not even 50 baggers but a 100 baggers!!. To put it in simplistic term, $10,000 invested in a 100 baggers will turn that $10,000 into $1,000,000 in N years. Of course timing is always unknown. Some stocks turn 100 baggers within a decade while other turn in a 100 baggers half a century later. The author emphasised using the “Coffee Can method” which is independent from market condition, favour of the day, whether on trend or unfashionable industry. What exactly is the Coffee Can method? The method is similar to our version of storing valuable or monies in “milo tin” under the bed during our grandpa era where banking was less reliable and less frequently used. The concept is by choosing a group of stocks which had great potential and invest them in equal portion. For e.g 20k for 10 stocks with each stocks getting a 2...

Lone Wolf Fund(LWF) Portfolio as at end of July 1.) Cash  2.) Singapore Medical Group(SMG) 3.) Comfortdelgro Corporation(CDG) *Stocks are not rank in accordance to capital invested .  *Just for sharing. Not an inducement to buy or sell . Commentary Happy Birthday to my beloved country, Singapore, a place where I call home. If Singapore was a listed company which could be bought and sold like any other securities on the stock exchange, the “Singapore stock” would have made you close to 158x return in 57 years. Singapore GDP per capita started at a mere USD $500 in 1965 had risen to USD 79k by end of 2021. In 1965, a country barely half the size of London with no natural resources and 2m population comprise of mostly the poor and hungry, set out to be a new country with huge odd stacked against us. Our pioneer generation set out the daunting task of creating jobs and attract investments into our country. A miracle was born out of wedlock. The miracle is well documented, I...
