My very first experience of doing a buffet was in Marina South many years ago, it was part of the thing I do on route to the well established nightspots located along Marina South. It is also what a secondary kid could afford. One could pigged out with a ridiculous amount of food for a Tenner. NS weekend book out day was another occasion for a nice buffet meal. I had substantially dial down my intake over the years. Age had definitely caught up.

Today recommendation felt a sense of liberty. For more than 3 years of covid lockdown, my wife and I finally had a chance to do a proper DIY buffet session. I like the liberty of taking what I want. I like buffet not for the quantity of food it offers, I love it due to the variety of choices that come with a good buffet spread. 

We are at City Hall, Cafe Mosaic, Carlton Hotel. They are currently offering lunch buffet special at only $38++ per person. It is difficult to find a buffet that is below $40 now due to food inflation  The choices of food are aplenty comprises of mostly local fare. Countless Salad, Sushi, Smoke Salmon, Cold Seafood, Soup, Roast Duck, Ginger Prawn, Roasted Lamb, Prawn Noodle. Free flow of coffee, tea and of course Ice Cream. There are just too many food to list everything down. I will let the photos do the talking.

Special thank goes to the hardworking and friendly service staffs, we had our unwanted plates clear in an instant. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Do try out their dinner buffet too, they are providing more seafood choices like Oysters, Sashimi, roasted beef for dinner. They are having a 1 for 1 promotion for patrons using a DBS/POSB card(dinner only). Dinner is at $118++ per pax till 31 Dec 2022. Lunch buffet starts at 12 noon and end at 2.30pm. Advanced booking is recommended.
