The answer to the above question is a resounding YES! A bit of history of Chick-fil-A. The restaurant was founded in 1946 by S. Truett Cathy, Hapeville, Georgia, where he invented the now famous Chicken Sandwich using pressure fryer. The family-owned business have 700 stores worldwide. A few hundred applicants applied to run the local franchise, but only one was successful. The owner is careful not to rush with new store opening to maintain quality.
The sandwich is nice and warm. The chicken fillet is moist and juicy. Every bite brings out a satisfying taste. The bun is soft. There are 6 sauces to choose from to go with the sandwich and waffles potato fries. I took the Garden Herb Ranch Sauce. The sauce works like a charm with the sandwich and fries. Another sauce worth giving a try is the Chick fil-A sauce. It is sweet and creamy. It gives the sandwich a different taste profile. Other worthy contenders for my next meal included salads and milkshakes.
The best part of the dining experience is the friendly staff. Everyone is so welcoming, which tops my experience along with the delicious food. I never had such joy going into a fast food restaurant. The prices are pocket-friendly too. A set of Classic Chicken sandwich comes with Waffles Potato Fries and a fountain drink costs $11.80. Drinks are refillable. Once I ordered the meal, I am free to find my table with a number tent. The staff will deliver the food to you. Table service is a standard, no more waiting for queue numbers, no self service and no more missing food.
One could have a chicken sandwich everyday with different sauces for the next 6 days. Why only 6 days, you may ask? The company gives their employees a Sunday off every week. I thought that was a very nice gesture to be given to all the friendly and hardworking staff. A breadth of fresh air, given the fast food industry is notoriously known for poor working conditions, with many fast food restaurants operating 7 days a week 365 days a year without closing. Happy staff, happy customers. Management 101.
The restaurant is spartan and clean, special mention goes to the staff for keeping the restaurant in tip-top condition. There is also a small innovative washing station that ensures clean hands without the mess. Do expect long queues during peak hours. My cheat sheet: have your lunch during breakfast 🤓 The best time to go is just after they open for service at 10am. “Roadside fast food market rumour” has it, there are plans for more outlets on the horizon. The only problem, once Chick-fil-A struck you, you may never go to another place for a chicken sandwich again.
