Wolf Money(Singapore Saving Bonds Nov 2026 review)
The recent rise in bond yields is pushing up yields on SSBs. The average yield for Nov SSBs comes in at 2.45%. The first year yield is an attractive 1.63%. With the higher yield, banks have to increase their fixed deposit rates to draw in the savers. Some banks are offering up to 2% on a 12-month fixed deposit. Ultimately, when there is competition, the savers benefit. The 10 SGS is trading close to 2.4%. I expect next month’s yield to be similar or even dip slightly. The closing date for this month’s application falls on 27th Oct@9pm. God bless.
