Wolf Money(Fu Yu Corporation)sold

Image
I sold my small holdings in Fu Yu. The management merry-go-round seems endless. It projects an image of uncertainty. Company seems to have issues finding the right people to do the job. There was resignation, termination, re- assignment which felt like a demotion and re-employment. Confusing 🫤 . There was a 2% draw down in the position.  Please consider following us on telegram for the latest update on Lone Wolf investor by clicking on the link below. Wolf Money(Genting Singapore)

Image
I re-enter the stock today as fundamental has improved since my last exit. Below are some quick points on Genting SP. 1.). Thailand casino is unlikely to restart anytime soon given the assurance by Thai PM to China. The fear of competition against the Singapore casino has receded. 2.) The strengthening of Malaysia Ringgit will draw more visitors from across the causeway to Resort World Sentosa. 3.) The better than expected results in recent quarter coincided with the opening of new retail and entertainment complex. 4.) The opening of RTS by the end of 2026 will have a positive impact of Johoreans coming to Singapore integrated resort due to its proximity and the ease of travelling. I theme Genting Sp as my “RTS Play” 5.) Dividend at 5.5% Risk 1.) Huge capex needed for RWS 2.0 2.) Unfavourable win rates. 3.) The strengthening of SGD. 4.) Delay in RTS opening. Support can be seen at 71c and 66c level. A strict exit strategy is required. More detail at the end of month update. God B...

Wolf Review(Vacay Musings)

Image
(Rasa and its idyllic view)  I did a few short vacations during the December school holidays. Here are the snapshots of my trips. Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa The property is well known for its resort-style hotel. My son had a lot of fun at the pool. The food is excellent. One area for improvement is to spruce up the dated hotel rooms. They do need an urgent upgrade.  John Master Organic has an agreement to supply shower gels and shampoo to the hotel. The body wash is perfect. Even my wife, who usually had high standards for her own bathroom wash, praised the body wash for giving her skin a silky feel. Unfortunately, they don’t sell them at the hotel retail store. I got them from Shopee instead. A 350ml bottle will set you back $30.  (John Master Organic body wash gives a nice citrusy smell) Royal Caribbean Cruise   After the enjoyment we had on our last cruise with Genting Dream. We were back for more on the request of my wife and son to try out the Royal Caribbean Cruis...
