The Courtyard Cafe is situated inside the former Supreme Court historical building. The cafe is lively with a lot of natural light. Cafe is fill with soft jazz music playing behind the background. This post is for the curry chicken lover out there.

Taste

This curry chicken is the best I have tasted so far. The chicken drumstick is huge. The meat is soft and tender. The curry has a right mix of taste and flavour. The curry is thicken with coconut without overpowering the taste buds. The curry is cooked with potato, long bean and beancurd puff. The curry is mildly spicy. It’s goes very well with jasmine rice. To me, it is a proper man meal. 




The deal

Courtyard cafe is running a set lunch promotion till end of the year. Visitor with a National Gallery Singapore ticket stub can have a bowl of curry chicken plus rice and a choice of hot coffee or tea for only $10 nett. You can choose braised chicken rice if curry chicken doesn’t float your boat. The braised chicken is another favourite of mine. Remember to show ticket stub when ordering the set meal. Singaporean and Permanent Residents get free tickets to the National Gallery all year round.

Dining experience

The Courtyard Cafe is situated inside a historical building. It does give diners a different kind of experience. One might think they are having lunch in Europe due to the neoclassical architecture setting. There are plenty of spacing between each table. Cleanliness is good. The cafe also run a lounge, one can order a pint of beer to go with your meal. Best timing for lunch will be before 12 noon. It is an amazing place to have lunch and enjoy the fine art exhibitions curated by National Galley Singapore.

Besides the low valuation suffered by our market participants, investors of our market have to navigate the complexity of low ball offers from majority shareholders.
