I bought back partial of my sold Thai Beverage PCL shares at the current price due to positive news coming out of Thailand. Chinese President, Xi, pledged to help Thailand bring back tourists from the Mainland if the country forgoes the idea of setting up a casino in the future. Thailand might see a surge in Chinese tourists in the upcoming CNY period. Chinese tourists to Thailand are down by a third compared to last year. This position is purely on the core business recovering. BeerCo listing is not part of my consideration given the death of the Queen. It might be seen as bad optics to be seeking a listing for their beer unit. The listing delays can be up to 3 months to a year based on my guesstimate. Thai Beverage will be reporting full year earnings towards the end of Nov. 2c worth.
